BACK TO SCHOOL

Well, Today was the first day of school for our boys, so now we're back to our school routine! I usually roll out of bed at 5:00 am (typical for me)threw a load of clothes in the washer, made coffee, checked e-mails, put dishes away, got lunch together, woke up Bryce to hit the shower, woke up Zack and then Noah. Noah was out of the house by 6:45 to catch the school bus and we left just after 7 to be at school by 7:30! (Whew!) This year should be interesting...Bryce is a Junior now and Zack is a Freshman at Chatsworth HS. Noah is in 5th grade at Hesby Oaks. I tried to snap some pics of them before school, but time just got away...I'll try again later.

It's late and I'm pooped! Goodnight everybody!

BUSY TIMES

Well, school is just around the corner and it's so hard to believe that we have two high schoolers and Noah is in his last year of primary school. Time really does fly! Today is 9th grade registration day for Zack...he seems a ready to take on this new chapter in his life. I'm looking forward to his growth and making new friends. Bryce's registration day is tomorrow. He really did not have a break from school~~well just a 3 week break! Other than that, he had summer school and the football practice. We are really looking forward to watching football this year, Bryce is on the Varsity team! Go Chancellors! Noah is so happy to be home. He is back on schedule with football and will be playing with the Chatsworth Chiefs. We LOVE football season even though it keeps us busy. That's it for now. I'll post some photos soon!

Creative Rambling and More

It's me again! As I mentioned in my previous blog, My sis and I have been getting ready for another event...We've been putting together some new cards some with a little twist...When you have a minute, head on over to our website HERE. This is our very own website! We're so excited about it. We also have our Blog HERE that we keep do keep current as well. Michelle & I are having so much fun with the Sassy Sisters venture. We have met so many people and we have also learned alot about having our own "business". It's been quite a whirlwind experience for us. I remembered that I do have some pictures to share of the cards that we have been working on.
I call this card Silhouette. I think it looks pretty elegant. I also created this one I really liked the way they turned out and I will definitely be adding this to our collection! Check back again soon...I'll post more of what we've been up to later.

WE'RE STILL HERE

Hiya Everyone! We're still here, just winding down from a somewhat busy summer. Zack & Noah have been in Hawaii with their Ama for 3 weeks now...We sure miss them. (They'll be home in a week!) We can't wait til they get home. Even though we talk to them almost every day, it still doesn't replace the fact that we can't hug and kiss em. They're having fun hanging out with cousins, Makana & Steven up at their house in Kula. They've been going to the movies, catching lizards, watching movies, going to the beach and enjoying good family time with our Maui cousins. We have the best family~I wish I was there! I know the boys are going to miss their cousins & Maui when then get back to Cali...Thank you cousins for keeping the boys entertained! Brent and Bryce have been surfing the weekends away and I have been preparing for a Sassy Sister Event on the 16th and 17th, in Port Hueneme. School starts back up in about three weeks. Then, we'll be hitting the ground running. We are looking forward to enjoying Bryce & Noah's football games again (we just love football), and Zack's first year in high school. I haven't been taking too many pictures, I'll have to get back into snapping some shots. This weekend we'll be celebrating the Prestige Family's 50th Wedding Anniversary and 70th Birthday and also getting together for brunch with some of our elementary/jr. high/high school girlfriends and their families~~fun! Keep checking in for new pics! I better get going, gotta get ready for work! Have a good weekend y'all!

More Long Weekend Fun...

We spent the 4th of July Holiday at the beach. We slept, ate, people watched and just RELAXED. Mom, Dad, Michelle and Ariel joined the fiverancks at Zuma. It was such a perfect day at the beach (even though it wasn't the original beach we had planned on, we still had a great time). They were in the water most of the time. After we got home, we swam and BBQ'd at my parents. Then we walked around the block and watched fireworks!

On the 5th, we received a call from Brent's Aunt Mandy, who said that cousin Justin (who had been in Iraq this past year) was visiting for the weekend and they were trying to round up whoever could make it...to the beach. We wouldn't pass up this opportunity, it's always fun to see and talk with Justin. We just love his stories. Needless to say, Brent, Noah & I drove down to Huntington Beach and enjoyed a nice afternoon-evening with the Ranck-Garcia-Baty-Denicola clan around the fire pit, eating Robin's yummy carne asada. We topped our meal off with yummy s'mores!

Our Sunday, was pretty restful, however, I had some Sassy Sisters work to do. We have a big event coming up in 2 weeks. I had some major creating to do. I also got to talk to my dear sister-in-law, Ase in Norway. We talked for a VERY long time. We hadn't talked like that in LONG time, we had lots of catching up to do. All-in-all, we had a very pleasant weekend and we are looking forward to another time when we’re all home, enjoying another LONG weekend.

Long Weekend Fun!
