I'm baaack!

My Saturday started out with an hour long facial...aaah, how relaxing.

Then we all went to Uncle Julio's retirement party. It was sooo much fun. We saw most of our family, some who we haven't seen in years! It was fun. Here are some pics of the evening. What a great party! We ate yummy food, visited, laughed and danced the night away. Cheers to you, Uncle Julio! We are glad we could celebrate this special day with you.

Guest of Honor, Uncle Julio (aka J-Rod) and Aunty Linda. What a great party!

One Last Thought for the Day

Wow, it's been a very long day and I'm tired...One last thought for the day though. You would think that since I work on a computer all day long that I wouldn't want to go near it when I'm at home. Well, sometimes I have no choice. Tonight after dinner, Bryce asked me if I could type up a short report he has to turn in for Biology...I did. It didn't take me long at all. Then, he told me about an extra credit project for English that was being offered, so I helped him with that too. I don't mind, it's extra credit for him and it also helps the school. If you're interested, please visit the Hamburger Helper Grant Website: www.myhometownhelper.com/ViewProject.aspx?tell=2&id=38813. Chatsworth Baseball is trying to raise $15,000 to finish up their baseball stadium. Just leave a comment, that's it. Needless to say, I visited that website and left a comment. I also volunteered to chair Noah's class fundraiser, we're putting togehter a nice "cooking" basket for their spring gala, so I sent an e-mail to all of his classmates asking for donations. Now, I think I'm done. Dishes are gonna have to wait...I'm pooped! Night, night everyone!

Mom Hit the Speed Limit--Look Out, Here She Comes!

On March 13th, my Mom, Melanie turned the BIG 65! She was dying to eat Japanese food...So, we all had dinner with Ama-Mama for her birthday at our favorite Japanese restaurant (YUM-E)!

So Here's a Little Bit More About Us...

Last Friday, March 21st, my Grandparents, Easter & Alice Doyle (a.k.a. Granny & Grandpa) celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary! What an accomplishment. They are the only couple that I know who have been married that long! They have 5 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren. Here's a picture with Granny & Grandpa with their mo'opuna.

Ranck and File

Well folks, this is just the beginning of our blogging adventure. We'll do our best to keep you up-to-date with our family events.

Noah is the youngest and is definitely NOT camera shy. He's outgoing and funny. He loves to hang out with the big boys. He knows every word to every song. He keeps us on the edge of our seats and comes up with the funniest one liners. Life is not dull with Noah around.

Zack is our #2 son. He's sensitive, quiet and shy, however, when he's with his friends, he's a totally different person. He LOVES his friends and cherishes his relationships. He's in 8th grade is anxious about starting high school.

Bryce is the oldest of our 3 sons. He LOVES surfing, skateboarding (cuz he doesn't drive yet), paintball and dirt bikes. He plays football for Chatsworth High and enjoys it very much. Here are a couple of pics of Bryce.

Brent loves to surf.

Getting Started

So, I've been reading other blogs and have been wanting to start one for some time now. I just did not know where to begin. Then, I received and read the Norris Family Blog and decided that I better get one started. Tommie Norris (a dear family friend) shared her blog with us. She did such a great job! That's when I decided I better get one started too so we can share our life with our friends and family. Check back every now and then to see what we've been up to.

Have fun and enjoy our tales!
