Summer Vacation Begins

The Boys are out of school for the summer. However, Bryce is going to summer school for 6 weeks & he has football practice that starts up soon.

We started their summer break with a nice trip to the beach. My parents & sister joined us, as well as Bryce's girlfriend, Ariel and friends Ruben & Frank. We all had a nice day at the beach. The weather was perfect at the beach! It was such a nice day, surf was up and the guys were absolutely in surf heaven! Later in the afternoon, Brent joined us from work. That was a nice surprise as the boys love to hang loose with their dad. Noah, Zack & Bryce in the line up.

Bryce on a nice right.
Over here, Noah...
Zack rippin it up on his sponge.

Back to work for me tomorrow (ew). The weather here in California, especially in the SFV has been SIZZLING! 111+ degrees in the valleys~~talk about hotness. Today we're going to try to stay cool. It's only suppose to be 94 degrees.

Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, have a great day and a blessed week!

MORE FAMILY NEWS

So, my twin sister & I have been busy with our little business we have. We had our second fair this past weekend. Take a look at our Sassy Sisters site here http://sassysistercrafts.blogspot.com/. We spent the weekend with our Aunty Linda at the San Dimas Ho'olaule'a (Festival in Hawaiian) selling our homemade items.

After our busy weekend, I sat down and took a few minutes to read the mail and found out that Bryce, who will be a junior next year, passed the CAHSEE test. California requires all 10th graders to take the California High School Exit Exam in order to graduate. Well, he passed! Good job, Bryce. So now, when it comes time to graduate in 2010, he will not have to worry about that. He's been REAL busy lately, varsity football practice is in full swing now. He had a Saturday tournament at Pierce College. Other schools from the area and the O.C. came up for it. He said he didn't play much and it was sort of boring. But, at least he showed up and showed his Coach that he means business.

Zack is finshing up with Middle School. He graduates next week Thursday. We're so proud of him, he had some struggles and worked hard all year. Most of his friends will be heading to Chatsworth with him next year.

Noah had a great 4th grade year. He did so well. We learned that he's very popular and gets along very well with everyone.

Noah ~ Future Survivor Man!

On Friday, Michelle & Ama went to Noah's school...Hesby Oaks in Sherman Oaks. His school had an "Young Authors Day" that day so, they decided to go and see what Noah's been up to. He wrote a book about Survival. He described to everyone how one can survive in the wilderness...Here are a some pictures of him reading to a group of kids and adults during the Young Authors Day...
